Odelia Mirzadeh received her BA and MS degrees in Communication Disorders from California State University Northridge, she also minored in Music Therapy. Her credentials are well-solidified, having earned her Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and Speech Language Pathologist license by the State of California.
Odelia is a member of the Autism Society of America, the Voice Foundation of America, American Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Association, and the National Stuttering Association. She completed a number of internship programs to help her career develop, working in the Santa Monica School District, Malibu School District, Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Country Villa Skilled Nursing Homes, Beverly Hills School District, and more.
The diverse training that Odelia has accumulated has helped her become a specialist in working with both children and adults. She treats various conditions such as ASD, APD, oral motor speech disorders, voice disorders, apraxia, stuttering, social communication disorders, and more. Additionally, she evaluates speech problems developed from medical conditions or head trauma.
Odelia’s experience as a speech pathologist encompasses various topics regarding communication disorders. She has attended education courses such as Kaufman’s Apraxia of Speech, PROMPT, Talk-Tools, SOS, Fast-Forward (FFW), Hanen, and more.
